4th of July with Family

It has been a very busy summer!  At the beginning of July, Kristy, Megan, Abby and William blessed us with a visit! (We missed you Chopper!)  But we had lots of "girlie" fun.

Even Grandpa got in on the action playing Barbies!  That must be who Kristy got her love of Barbies from!!
I forgot what it was like when a one year old has to feed himself!  After watching William's treatment of refried beans, I don't know if I can eat them again!
Guess who got his first "flow-bee"haircut!  He wasn't even scared!
No one reads a story like Grandpa!

Potter Zoo in Lansing

 Pretty exciting!  Camel rides.....

...and feeding the birds!

Another day we went to Dow Gardens in Midland.  Beautiful!  And Megan even took some pictures!

"Beautiful roses" taken by Megan!

For the July 4th holiday, Jeff came up from Washington DC!

The favorite Uncle!
No sleeping in allowed!

We also spent a day at Lake Michigan at Little Sable Point Lighthouse Beach

White boy!  I need my sunglasses!

One of my favorite lighthouses on Lake Michigan.

The Discovery Museum in Mt. Pleasant

Artists in training!
You have to wear a kimono to be in the Japanese tea house!

William had a great time climbing around!  Only we didn't fit!

 They love each other!

Every time we went outside William crawled right over to the truck!  He's all boy!

Ummmmmm....
